Ok. I was working at stupid places for the last few Wednesdays so I'm completely off schedule and I haven't been posting for Wednesday book promo. I really wanted to do one after Arisia since I metonyxhawke and wanted to help him promote his writers. THere's also a few really cool writers that I heard at panels and ellen_datlow sent me Inferno to review and I'm grateful.
However, I just saw onnihilistic_kid's lj that dgkgoldberg's posthumous book of short stories is out from Prime. So this week's Wednesday Book Promo will be Doomed to Repeat it. (sadly Queen of the COuntry is not on Amazon yet but you can order it through Prime Books) I didn't know her very well. She joined weirdjews2 in the early days when it was still a pissing contest with the other shul. She died a few years back. She seemed cool. The Pac Man didn't like her, but that's hardly a ringing endorsement since the Pac Man hates everyone.
