I'm not sure if he's really on-topic for this group, but has anyone here read Huysmans' "La-Bas"? Huysmans is better known for "A Rebours" ("Against Nature"), probably the most extraordinary work to come out of the Decadence. "La-Bas" (published in 1891) deals with Satanism in Paris in the 1890s. Extremely controversial at the time, not surprisingly.
