I’ve just read The Hall Bedroom by Mary E. Wilkins Freeman (an author I hadn’t heard of). It’s a very strange story. A horror story of sorts, although really more weird fiction than horror. It was published in 1905, I believe. It’s about a boarding house, which has a hall bedroom. A hall bedroom with peculiar properties, possibly involving the fifth dimension. It’s a very effective little story. I found it on my hard drive, and I have no idea when I downloaded it, or from where.
