And I did recently read Daphne du Maurier’s story “Don’t Look Now”, which formed the basis for Nic Roeg’s magnificent 1973 movies of the same name. Sadly the short story is nowhere near as good as the movie. It’s not a bad story, just not as good as the film.
Has anyone read any of her other stuff? Is it worth bothering with?
