Has anyone here read Sir Richard Burton’s Vikram and the Vampire: Or, Tales of Hindu Devilry? Published in 1893 or thereabouts, I believe. I’ve recently been involved in discussions of Burton on several lists, so I’ve been looking out for his books, and this one sounds interesting.
