The Suicide Club by Robert Louis Stevenson isn’t quite a horror story, but the idea of a club for suicides in which the members draw cards to decide whose turn it is to die and whose turn it is to arrange the necessary fatal accident does give it something of a horror theme. Of the three linked stories which comprise The Suicide Club the first is by far the best. Not a great work, and not Stevenson’s best, but still entertaining.
